Our Story

Travis McNutt’s passion for detailing cars started before he could even drive. After getting his degree and spending some time in the corporate world he decided to start his detailing business in 2015.

Travis and his wife Skye have had the fortunate ability to travel around the U.S. detailing exotic and luxury cars for clients in almost every state. When he entered into the ceramic coating business in 2016 he also took a job as a national sales rep for Ceramic Pro. That role transitioned into being the National Trainer for Ceramic Pro. Travis and Skye travelled all over the country visiting detail shops and teaching their staff and owners how to build their business around properly performing Paint Correction and Ceramic Coating services.

Travis also held the CEO role of Americana Global car care product company for several years before forming Paintslayer. His passion for detailing has taken him on a journey around the country working on amazing vehicles and for the best people in the industry.

In 2019 Travis decided to move back to Amarillo, his hometown, and open a new detail shop. They have been operating here with great success for the last several years. He has used his experience to build a great team of individuals dedicated to providing you with the best service and products.
